This Remington manufactured green, red and white cardboard box with the red ball design contains all 50 rounds of Kleanbore Model 16 22 Remington Autoloading ammunition with brass cases and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear. The white portions of the box have turned tan with age. This box displays the semi circle thumb cut on the right end of the box with the product code "7422" printed next to it. The brass casings display the "U-3" headstamp and have a couple of specks of tarnish present.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until 1962.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # REM-12 RA-1(b) variation. The difference observed is that the side of the box does not match Huegel's example photo. The cartridge casings are made of brass.
